Theophana was a Friend (Quaker)

Theophana was recorded unsourced as the daughter of Thomas Hopkins and Susan Ladd, however; on Findagrave her parents are linked to entirely different people also unsourced. A message has been left but the creator has not been active for a long time.

Theophana and Daniel Hough lived in OH where he taught school before returning to Wayne Co., IN.

Theophana was instrumental in saving the valuable historical library of rare volumes of Indiana history which was purchased from Daniel's estate for the State Library of Indiana. ^[1]

In fact, in 1911, she is listed in the Muncie Directory as at 1512 E. Main St., as a Magazine Agent. She is recorded there in 1915 and 1917 although without an occupation and she died in Muncie on New Years Day in 1922. ^[2] [1]

She is buried at Willow Grove Cem., Fountain City, with her husband. Find A Grave: Memorial #99569257

Their four children were:

2. William Henry (c1858 IN - 1878)

5. Charles Lamb md Helen A. and they removed to Red River, Arkansas where he was a physician. ^[3]
