Biography

Jannetie Christoffelse Steynmets was born in October 1693 in Passaic County, New Jersey, the child of Christoffel and Jannetje. She married Casparas Van Nostrand on Oct 22m 1720 at the Reformed Dutch Church, Hackensack, New Jersey. He was baptized on May 4, 1698 a the Reformed Dutch Church, New York, and died in May 1744 around the age of 46. He was the son of Jacob Jacobse Van Nostrand and Annetje Croesvelt. They had seven children in 12 years. She died in 1740 in New Jersey, at the age of 47.
