Research notes
Folkie was not a Quackenbush. She only ever appeared in records with the patronym of Pieters.

I did some research on Volkie (it's a female name) and she was assumed to be a relation of Pieter's by early researchers but it turns out she wasn't. She had a patronymic of Pieters and witnessed the baptism of one of the grandchildren but she was not a Quackenbosch.
I'll have to find in the records who her husband was again.

The Quackenbosch grandchild she presented for baptism was Johannes' daughter Magtelt.
I may have concluded that the patronymic came from Vrooman but am still looking.
