Alexander Ross was born on 11 May 1705 in Kincardine, Ross-shire, Scotland.
Alexander married 11 June 1725, at Banff, Banffshire, Hellen Donald.[1] Their known children were:
- George Ross (1726 – unknown)
- Margaret Ross (1727 – unknown)
- John Ross (1730 – on 02 August 1805)
Alexander died on 6 March 1786 in Uppe, Canada, aged 80.
