Martine (Tine) Alida Wortman was born in Alkemade, South Holland, Netherlands on 6 April 1930, the daughter of Johannes Hendrikus Gregorius Wortman and Cornelia van der Zwet and her siblings were Hendricus Johannes Franciscus Wortman, Piet Wortman, Nel Wortman, Jan Wortman, Riet Wortman, Lennie Wortman, Corrie Wortman, Annie Wortman and Henk Wortman.

She married Simon Cornelis van Seggelen, the son of Johannes Josephus van Seggelen and Catharina Gerarda Nulkes, in about 1950 in South HollandNetherlands ^[1] and their children were Johannes (Jan) Gerardus van Seggelen, Tineke van Seggelen, Lia Cornelia Catharina van Seggelen and Ron van Seggelen.

Tini died on 5 March 2002 in Leiden, South Holland, Netherlands ^[2].
