Priscilla Searle or Presela Searell is a freespace page tracing the different Priscillas, the couples they are part of, and shows a need for PPP
Presela, daughter of Christopher, was christened 11 Sep 1583 at Honiton on Otter, Devon, England.[1]
A birthdate is unlikely to be forthcoming as there were no birth certificates during this period of history, and only the baptism was recorded in most cases.
A FamilySearch profile has not been created for the Presela Searell in association with the baptismal record. It would be useful to attach her records in FamilySearch to her spouse, if that has not been done, especially because of the age that might rule this profile out as belonging to a different person, other than Thomas Pitt's spouse and mother of his children. On the other hand, it could have been a late baptism, but that was uncommon; whereas, if her birth year is linked closely to the baptism record, it should be noted that she first bore a child for Thomas Pitt at about age 16.

I wanted to bring to your attention the profile for Thomas Pitts (1555 - 1613). He is listed as being married to a Priscilla Searle (Searle-665), and I surmise that either these are two different people, or something is awry in the lineage.
On the profile link for Thomas Pitts (1555 - 1613), I have left a few notes about problem areas that I have identified in looking at surrounding profiles. I hope that maybe you can take a look and help get the identification of key people sorted.
If we have a good working agreement on who the descendants are in the case of the two Thomases, then maybe we can work through what appear to be some conflation problems or perhaps misidentifications on origins. I am new to this line, so hopefully you or someone connected can review the set of notes and the surrounding profiles between the two Thomases. It would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards.
Couple 1: Thomas PITTS (Pitts-2192) b 1555 Bristol and married Priscilla SEARLE (Searle-665) b 1528 Bristol, son William b 1593 Bristol - completely separate from the other couple because all in Bristol; couple is unsourced.
Couple 2: Thomas PITT (Pitt-82) b 1555 Blandford, Dorset married Presela SEARELL (Searle-871) bap 1583 Honiton, Devon, sons Christopher, Edward, William, John, Robert all born Blandford.
Couple 2 and a half: same couple as Couple 2, with same Wiki-IDs, same dates, same locations, same sons - but with girls added: Anne (b unknown place), Mary (b unknown place), Mary (born Wiltshire). Note that the girls are not mentioned in any of the transcribed wills.
Couple 3: Thomas PITT and Priscilla SEARLE - she is from Hayle, Devon (although as far as I know, there is only one Hayle, and it is in Cornwall)
So Couple 2 is the one on which we can base everything, because they and sons are sourced. I do not think any of the Priscillas need merging. See below in other 'public messages' for my plan of action back in 2017.
1. Unlink the parents from Searle-145 [parent relationship backed up only by unsourced genealogies] and unlink the husband Thomas [Pitt-82]
2. Unlink the parents from Searle-734 [parent relationship backed up only by unsourced genealogies] and unlink the husband Thomas [Pitt-82]
3. DO NOT MERGE Searle-734 into Searle-145, as they are obviously different Priscillas
4. Link Searle-871 and Pitt-82 as husband and wife
Thoughts?
1. Priscilla [Searle-145] b 1 June 1558 in Bristol, where her father Christopher would only have been 13. Hmmm... [parent relationship backed up only by unsourced genealogies]
2. Priscilla [Searle-734] b 1565 in Hayle, Cornwall, so father Christopher would have been 20 (quite possible) and it's rather far away [parent relationship backed up only by unsourced genealogies]
3. Presela [Searle-871] chr 11 Sep 1583 in Honiton, Devon, so father Christopher would have been 38 (quite possible). This was the one I sourced, and was in the Honiton baptism register (saw the FindMyPast scan myself). [parent relationship backed up by original parish baptism register]
I would go with #3; father b Ottery St Mary, mother b Honiton
