Good morning Al, hope all is well. On your profile for Louise Baker, Baker-47464, you are showing her husband as private. Could you please open his profile for editing. Her husband was Russell Warren Byers, and he passed away in 2009. Louise is a 2nd cousin 2xr to me, and I am just trying to update the family. Thank-you, and you have a good rest of the day.

Trying to find the person you are refering too, and cannot seem to locate. Would be happy to if I could find her. I'm pretty inactive right now. That number doesn't show up on my search.

Yes, Baker-47464 is the correct number. Her husband is showing as private. See link below.

Hello Al, I'm Farryl Essig and just wanted to say hello, Cousin. I see that we are 6th cousins 2x removed. We share multi-great grandparents Robert Napier and Mary (Perrin) Napier, Sr. I am originally from Chesterfield, Virginia and now reside in the North Myrtle Beach area of South Carolina. I have just become interested in the genealogy of the family. This is the only line that I have been able to take back centuries. I am searching for info on Robert Booth, from England orginally but settled in York, Virginia. who would also be another multi-great grandfather we share. Booth Napier was named to honor Elizabeth Booth Napier's Father, Robert Booth. Elizabeth was the wife of Patrick Napier, originally from Scotland but also settled in what would be York Co., Va.

Thank-you Al for your response on the Kiracofe-34 and Carricoffe-1 merge. The other profile manager has not been active for 3 years, so the merge request might sit there for 30 days, until it is approved by default. I made myself a reminder so I will check up on it. You have a good weekend.

Hello Al, hope all is well with you. Do you have time to look at something with me with the Carricoffe/Karicofe family. I would like to get it straightened out. Your James Carricoffe-1 and Kaircofe-34 are the same person. They need to be merged. We know that this family name has used different spellings over the years. In fact, the marriage source for James and Elizabeth has his last name spelled as Canicoffe. I added a Find A Grave source to Elizabeth's profile. There are also other Family Search source citations I will add to the profiles once I get James 2 profiles merged. I am going to fill out a merge request today. Thank-you, stay safe.

Okay, I made a few corrections to my personal database on Ancestry. So yes, let's proceed with the merge now.

Thanks for the help. Hope all is well with you too. We're safe and well Thank God

Hello Al, hope all is well with you. Can you look at something for me please. You created a profile for a Charles Baker, Baker-47453, and added him as a sibling of Hunter Virgil Baker, Baker-24788. There already is a profile for Hunter's brother Charles. This can be seen by looking at the father's profile, Samuel Baker-24721. The profile you created needs to be disconnected from the family. Thank-you, have a good rest of the day.

Al, looking at your profile for George Saufley, Saufley-44, I see he has 2 wives listed that appear to be the same lady. They are Anna Seevley, Seevley-1, and Ann Sievley, Sievley-1. Do you agree that they should be merged?

Yes Sir, I do. Good catch. If you want to start the merge that is fine with me.....I'm a bit busy, but will approve.

Hi Al! You posted to an old join post for Magna Carta Project... sorry for the delayed response.

A lot has changed since the G2G post you found. Most noticeably, we have two membership levels - Affiliate & badged. The other major change is that badged members have participation requirements to meet.

To join the project as an Affiliate member, just post {Member|Magna Carta Affiliate}} to your profile and send us a join request to the Google Group (include your WikiTree ID so we know it's you).

https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/wikitreemagnacarta

To join as a badged member, head over to the latest G2G join post for more information:

Hi Al,

Thanks for participating in the Saturday Sourcing Sprint. As part of my routine review, I made a couple of edits to profiles that you had improved. You hadn't removed the Unsourced Research Note box code from the top, so I did that.

On Lillie Mae (Caves) Simpkins's profile I also added some formatting codes (see the Editing Tips FAQ for more on that) and added the Links to Ancetry coding so that the marriage and death index records are just a click away.

I hope you won't mind. Let me know if you would like more information on how I did any of that.

Thanks for sourcing!
