Biography

Antje was the daughter of Jochem Wouterse Van Wert (Van Goede) and Styntje (Christina) Jans (Snedeker), born at Midwout, Long Island, New York, probably about 1672 (based on the date of her first marriage).

Antje (Annetjen) Jochemse Van Weert 1672 – 1709 married first Johannes Minnelay and after his death as a widow she married Johannes Paulusz Jurckse (born about 1658), who was married first to (banns 11 June 1681) NYC Ref Ch) 9 July 1681 Janneken Derets (Derret; Dret; dewt.) (banns: dau. of Jan Derret & Grietie Plettenburg .

Johannes Jurckse and Annetje Jochems Van Wert (widow of Johannes Minnelay) baptized their first known child on 24 November 1700, indicating that they were married sometime before that date. Annetje died before June 1709.[1][2]
