Biography
When Hilaire Saulnier was born on 4 June 1817, in Saint Marys Bay, Nova Scotia, Canada, his father, Joseph Simon Saulnier, was 32 and his mother, Marie Thibodeau, was 29. He married Marie Vitalline Maillet on 12 November 1839, in Meteghan, Clare, Digby, Nova Scotia, Canada. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 3 daughters. He died before 1871, at the age of 53.
