She married Elijah Young, son of Alexander (deceased) and Sarah Young of Phillips Precinct, Westchester County, on 24d 2m 1763 [24 Feb 1763] at Oblong.[2] He had produced a certificate from the Mamaroneck monthly meeting seven days prior.[3] He was formally received on certificate on 17d 1m 1765 [17 Jan 1765].[4]
Elijah was received at the Oblong monthly meeting from the Nine Partners monthly meeting on 15d 7m 1782 [15 Jul 1782].[5] Include were children Robert, Mary, Elias, Elisabeth, Anna, Phebe, and Hannah.[5] Hannah was received on 17d 5m 1784 [17 May 1784] after acknowledging on 18d 6m 1783 [18 Jun 1783].[6][7]
Elijah was received on certificate at the Danby monthly meeting on 8d 12m 1796 [8 Dec 1796] along with daughters Phebe, Hannah, Dorcas, and Meriam.[8] No record for Hannah has been found.

Quaker Calendar - There has been much confusion over the dates in Quaker records. Friends used numbered months and days rather than what they considered pagan names for them (i.e. "Thursday" coming from "Thor's Day"). Thus, when the secular calendar was changed in 1752, making January the first month instead of March, Friends began calling January "First Month".
