John married first Elizabeth(?) circa 1778^[1] He married second Mabel Hoag.^{[citation needed]}

On 20d 10m 1779 [20 Oct 1779], John witnessed the marriage of Phillip Allen and Rebecca Wood at the Easton monthly meeting.^[3]

John died 24 Feb 1824 in his 82nd year at Ellisburg or Jefferson, New York.^[1]
