I was born May 30, 1960 in New Haven, Connecticut. My father was attending Yale Divinity School in New Haven, Connecticut and after graduating in 1961 the family moved to Milton, Washington
I was baptized September 19, 1961 at Grandview Methodist Church in Grandview, Washington by my maternal grandfather, Ritchie Don Ocheltree. I was named after him, but my parents opted for Richard instead of Ritchie
I attended kindergarten at the Charles Wright Academy
My brother Rob was born in 1964
The family moved to Sierra Madre, California in 1966 so my father could work on his Ph.D. in Psychology from Fuller Seminary while serving as minister of a Methodist church in Sierra Madre
I attended first grade at an elementary school Sierra Madre. It was condemned for earthquake safety
I attended second grade at Sierra Mesa school (now closed).
I attended third grade at Don Benito school.
I attended fourth grade back at Sierra Madre elementary in a temporary bungalow
My brother Randall was born in 1968
In 1969 we moved to Burbank. My father served the First United Methodist Church of Burbank
I attended fifth and sixth grade at Thomas Jefferson elementary
I attended seventh and eighth grade at John Muir junior high school
My parents were divorced in 1974
I attended ninth grade at Malibu Junior high school AND Daniel Webster Junior high in West Los Angeles
In March 5, 1975 my father married Ailene Oak
My father and step-mother moved to Northern Idaho, south of Sandpoint, and I and my youngest brother Randall went along leaving my mother and middle brother in West Los Angeles. That was very hard
I attended 10th through 12th grade and graduated from Sandpoint Senior high school in 1978
In the fall of 1978 I attended my freshman year of college at the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho
In October 1979 I dropped out of college my sophomore year of college and followed my heart which was in love and moved to Moorpark, California
In April 1980 I moved to Simi Park, California. Heart break in progress
Later in 1980 I moved back in with my mother in Palms/Culver City, California
In 1981 I got my own apartment in Beverly Hills, California
On January 7, 1984 I married Donna M. Hale and moved into her apartment in Santa Monica, California.
In June 1988 Donna and I moved to Berkeley, California to attend Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary
In August 1990 we moved to Renton, Washington to begin our year of internship
Our daughter Marica E Wright was born January 28, 1991
We returned to Berkeley, California in August 1991 to finish our last year of seminary
In 1992 my wife and I graduated from Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary
With no work, we stayed for a time in a friend's RV in West Los Angeles, and then moved to Dover, New Jersey to stay with my mother
We moved to Scribner, Nebraska November 16, 1992
My wife and I were called to serve as pastors of United Evangelical Lutheran Church of Scribner, rural St. John's "Ridgeley" Lutheran Church, and Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church of Snyder, and were ordained December 6, 1992
In 1999 we accepted a call to serve Lord of Love Lutheran Church in Omaha, Nebraska
I served First Lutheran Church of Avoca temporarily for one year from 2007-2008
We moved to Richlandtown, Pennsylvania in August 2008
Our daughter Marica returned to Omaha after completing High School in 2009. Those were unhappy times
I served Christ Lutheran Church of Springtown temporarily in 2008-2009
We moved to Telford in 2009
I served St. John's Lutheran Church of Hatboro temporarily in 2009-2010
We moved to Cheltenham, Pennsylvania in 2010
I served Living Word Lutheran Church of Roslyn temporarily from July 2011 to July 2012
I served Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church of Burholme, Philadelphia, from July 2011 to November 11, 2018

PS To find reliable sources for your profiles, go to this link. RootsSearch. There are 24 different websites available and most are free. Give it a try!
If you can add geographical information (such as country/state of origin) and dates (eg. 1800's, mid 1900's etc.) as well as relationships(Parents, Grandparents etc) to your tags, it will make it easier for others to find you.
