According to the research of well-known genealogist, Donald Jacobus, Ebenezer Booth married two wives. First, Hannah________; and second, Elizabeth Jones b. 1665, d. June 1709. Elizabeth was daughter of Richard and Elizabeth (Carpenter) Jones. New England Marriages Prior to 1700 also shows both marriages. Unfortunately, several charts have combined the two women into one, but this appear to be incorrect.
Hannah's maiden name is unknown but she was the mother of two children, as recorded in Stratford, CT records. 1. Abiah, b. 19 Oct 1674; d. before 13 March 1740/41; m. Lt. Joseph Beach 2. Richard, b. 9 May 1679 d. young.
No marriage record was found but based on 1674 birthdate of eldest child, Ebenezer and Hannah were probably md around 1673 in Stratford, CT.
Based on 1686 birth date of eldest child born to 2nd wife Elizabeth, their marriage was probably around 1685, thus Hannah was dead by this time.
