Thomas was born about 1804. He is the son of John Kesson and Helen Ewan. He was baptised on 13 March 1804 in Monymusk, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.^[1]

In the 1851 census Thomas (age 46) was the head of household in Plumstead, Kent, England. He is noted as a Chelsea Pensioner ^[3]

In the 1861 census Thomas (age 57) was the head of household in Plumstead, Kent, England.^[4]

Removed the date of death 10 Mar 1880 in Inverenss-shire - there are only three deaths in Scotland of Thomas Kesson and none fit with his birth year or in Inverness-shire
