Biography
Titus Mead was born on September 15, 1729 in Greenwich, Fairfield, Connecticut Colony. His parents were Caleb Mead and Mary Holmes. He married Rachel Rundle on June 13, 1754. Together they had 9 children:

- Hardy Mead
- Martin Mead
He married 2nd Lucy Mumford (born 1726-died 11 Apr 1804). He married 3rd Tamise Brown (born 1731- died 13 May 1823). [1]

Mead: "Mead, Titus, late of Greenwich, will dated May 8, 1812, probated Sept 25, 1812, mentioned his wife Tamise, and children Andrew, Hardy, Titus, (deceased), Jabez, Ira and his wife Nancy, daughters not named. Executor his son Shadrach. Witnesses: Justus Sackett, Jr., Henry Knapp, and Hannah Banks.pg. 153. Sept 25, 1812, Order to advertise for claims, page 155. Inventory taken Sep 22, 1812, by Samuel Peck and Isaac Holly and filed Sept 28, 1812, page 155.[2]
