The only thing I found on the Baggetts especially Eli Baggett and 2nd wife Sally Holman http://baggetthistory.com/granberry.html about the descendants of Granberry Baggett

4:5 Eli Baggett (son of Granberry and Elizabeth), born 29 February 1803, died 1851, married [first] 1825 Frances Wilks Owen, born 24 November 1805, died 5 April 1836, buried Savage Cemetery. Children: 5:1 Nancy Wilks Baggett, born 13 September 1826, died 9 June 1883, married Thomas Savage, born 1 March 1819, died 28 July 1874, buried Savage Cemetery.

4:5 Eli Baggett married [second] Sarah Holman, born 1815, died 1852. Eli Baggett and both his wives are buried at Savage Cemetery, Robertson County, TN. 5:6 (5:1 [2nd]) George Thomas Baggett, born 10 September 1838, died 12 March 1922, married Amanda M. Dozier, born 19 September 1841, died 11 August 1930, buried at Cleburne, TX. then it goes through each of their children

Sarah Holman Baggett BIRTH 20 Oct 1817 Tennessee, USA DEATH 30 Jun 1852 (aged 34) Robertson County, Tennessee, USA BURIAL Savage Cemetery Robertson County, Tennessee, USA

MEMORIAL ID 84704258 Maintained by Bob (contributor 47202847). He has father Benjamin Holman

someone else had this as her parents so she is a point in question

Name Sarah Frances Holman Birth 20 October 1817 Death 30 June 1852 Spouse Eli Baggett Father Thomas Morris Holman Mother Holman Sherwood Children George Tilford Baggett

I have nothing definitive to say who her parents are---just waiting for the right descendant to show up with a Bible entry to help us with Sally

Hi, Aurora!

Thank you for your participation in October 2020’s Source-a-thon. Your contributions helped us to clear over 57,000 profiles that needed sourcing. This makes our Shared Tree all that much better.

Keep up the great work!

I am a daughter of a Howard that has been DNA matched back to John Lazarus Howard. I am confident that this line continues back to the Howard’s of Surrey in England. I want to join the Howard group in hopes of finding a DNA link to these ancestors.
Hey cousin. I sent you an email with "relationship to me" information. I also added you on the trusted list of Ferdia Lucille (Howard) Turner. If you want to be added as manger I can do that too just let me know.

Im have been working on an all inclusive United States Howard tree on ancestry for years. Id love to transfer it over to Wikitree!

I did the 23andme test and of the 24 probable dna matches Ive confirmed 16. Ive had my brother do a dna test too. Just keeping in touch!

Hi, Aurora, and thanks for all the contribs on Moffitt and Davis (Mary Davis) and the suggestion of the merging. The problem, though, right now, is with a couple of obvious conflicts of info. The other Mary Davis, supposedly born in 1750, could not possibly have had the marriages mentioned, especially as one is supposed to have occurred before another to Moffitt in 1763! Also, I have never read anywhere about the marriage previous to Moffitt marriage. How can we reconcile some of this stuff? I notice that this profile, with birth date for Mary Davis of 1750, was created with one of those ged sites, and I find they often carry a lot of obvious error if one only gets down to checking with Find a Grave and/or censuses, etc.

Thanks, Marianne Muse

I am really excited to have joined this site. We have not been able to connect any dna matches from ancestry or Geni but thanks to the information on here we have several matches already.

Hello Aurora,

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!

Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects which coordinate them is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.

Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus, whether time period, location, or special event. Read the goals and tasks of the project and join if it is a good fit.

Let me know if you have trouble finding projects which fit your focus. Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.

Hi Aurora & welcome to Wikitree! I am a Howard by marriage & I have been working to solve a Howard family mystery. Whenever u have time I would like to discuss & see if we could help each other with info. It is so helpful to compare notes with others researching same surname, thats something I enjoy about Wikitree!

Im going through old messages. Did you ever solve your problem? Im still looking for the parents of Enos Howard.
posted by Aurora (Howard) Chancy
in my browsing around and looking at various families i think i have seen at least 3 Enos Howards. at leas 1 is descendant of Matthew Howard Sr 1609. eventually i will get all these sorted out. there are about 20 to 40 given names that seem to be in common use in 1600s to early 1900s, like James, John, Robert. and others a little less so. they didn't have all the resources we have today. things like pamphlets were common but they were information of limited distance.
