Biography

This profile represents the mother (name unknown) of Geesje Roelofs (van Houten) and her sister Dirkje Roelofs. She was not a wife of Roelof Cornelissen Van Houten. Based on the years they were having children baptized, Dirckje and Geesje were of about the same age as, and perhaps older than, Roelof Cornelissen and his wife Grietje Cornelis Van Ness so those people could not have been their parents.

Research Notes

The following text is premised on the discredited notion that this woman was the wife of Roelof Cornelissen Van Houten.

Husband Roelof Corneliszen.
Wife [Unknown] Unknown.
Child: Gessie Roelofse.
Child: Dirkje Roelofse. [1] [2]
