Not son of Joseph and Sarah. Son of James (who was son of James, brother of Joseph) and Thankful. This Joseph born 5 March 1713/14, so correct birth date for profile.
Did not died 7 Feb 1742. That date is crossed out in Killingly vital records, and replaced with a death date of 29 December 1742 - and that is the death date of Capt. Joseph, his grandfather. Possibly died circa 1792 in Pomfret.
