Charles E. Emmet was born c.1858^[1][2][3][4] in Ireland^[1][2][3] or the Isle of Man.^[4]

He married Minnie Frazer (1867-1954).

In the 1910 census Charles (age 51), Captain, was the married head of household in Stonington, New London, Connecticut.^[2]

In the 1920 census Charles (age 61), Guard, was the married head of household in Stonington, New London, Connecticut.^[3]

In the 1930 census Charles (age 71), Farmer, was the married head of household at 234 Palmaneck, Stonington, New London, Connecticut.^[4]

Capt. Charles E. Emmet passed away on the 15th December 1933,^[5] at the age of 75, in Stonington, New London County, Connecticut,^{[citation needed]} and was buried in River Bend Cemetery, Westerly, Washington County, Rhode Island.^[5]
