Biography

I was born on September 25, 1958. I was born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas. I am the oldest of three. I graduated from Parkview Senior High school in May 1977. I had enlisted under the delayed entry program in December for the United States Navy. I went to work on Jan. 5, 1977 at the first Red Lobster in Little Rock on Rodney Parham Road as a busboy, beat painting houses or mowing lawns which you can't really do in the winter. I worked there up until July when I quit so I could go on vacation with my family to Florida. I was to attend Navy boot camp in September in San Diego, CA. What an eye opener that was. I was to report at 6am that sunny fall day to the Navy recruitment depot in downtown Little Rock. I thought we were leaving at an early time...wrong. We didn't leave till late that afternoon and I was beat. I hadn't slept hardly at all. When I got on the plane to try and sleep this lady flapped her gums all the way to San Diego. I got on an old gray bus driven by a Navy Seabee. The bus was made by Ward Transportation out of Conway, Arkansas where I now live. If your not a little grown up you will be by the time you get out of boot camp. The sun in San Diego must be a lot hotter than it is in Arkansas because my ears got burnt about three times. You could always tell who had been there the longest by how many layers of skin had peeled off their ears.

Hi David, Please take a look at http://www.wikitree.com/g2g/25911/important-understand-distinction-original-derivative-sources, from years of experience, there is a lot of bad data out there in family trees on the web. Let me know if I can help in any way.
