Biography

Bellardo Mendocino was born in Spain about 1580, of unknown parentage; and died at Lipari, Provincia di Messina, Kingdom of Sicily, after 8 January 1632.^[1] Vilardus deScino married at Lipari, 4 May 1604, by Reverendo Don Cesare Lo Bianco, Vittoria Terra Nova. The witnesses were Minico de Paola, Antonino Testa, and Bartolomeo Graffeo.^[2] Vittoria Terra Nova, who was born at Lipari, about 1585, daughter of daughter of Antonio Terra Nova and Antonia di Ricca; and died at Lipari, after 3 February 1620.^[3]
