Biography

Bellardo Mendocino was born in Spain about 1580, of unknown parentage; and died at Lipari, Provincia di Messina, Kingdom of Sicily, after 8 January 1632.[1] Vilardus deScino married at Lipari, 4 May 1604, by Reverendo Don Cesare Lo Bianco, Vittoria Terra Nova. The witnesses were Minico de Paola, Antonino Testa, and Bartolomeo Graffeo.[2] Vittoria Terra Nova, who was born at Lipari, about 1585, daughter of daughter of Antonio Terra Nova and Antonia di Ricca; and died at Lipari, after 3 February 1620.[3]

  3. Maria Mendocino, bap. 27 Sept. 1608; sponsor was Maestro Masi Lo Scarpaio.
  4. Francesco Mendocino, bap. 8 Jan. 1614; sponsor was Diego Nigro.
  5. Francesca Mendocino, bap. 2 Feb. 1615; sponsor was Maestro Francesco Maria [no surname].
  6. Biaggio Mendocino, bap. 3 Feb. 1620; sponsor was Petro Antonio Bivanco.
