Biography

Verdirame Voi was born at Lipari, Provincia di Messina, Kingdom of Sicily, about 1535, son of Bartolomeo Voi and grandson of Verdirame Voi, and died at Lipari, after 25 August 1587.[1] He married, first, at Lipari, about 1559, Marchesa Carrozza, who was born at Lipari, about 1540, of unknown parentage; and died at Lipari, before 12 September 1578.[2] He married, second, at Lipari, about 1577, Allegranza "Ganzarella" Amendola, who was born at Lipari, about 1558, perhaps a daughter of Giovanello Amendola and Fiorella Bonfiglio.[3]

On 29 January 1581, Maestro Nardo De Biase, blacksmith, filed a lawsuit for the theft of an anvil, against Reverendo Vincenzo Amendola and Verdirame Voi.[4]
