Biography

Caterina Mazzitello was born at Lipari, Provincia di Messina, Kingdom of Sicily, about 1594, daughter of Teramo Mazzitello and Giovanna Polverino; and died at Lipari, 4 September 1669, aged 75, figlia Theramo Mazzitello et Lunella Pulvirino.^[1] She married at Lipari, about 1609, Maestro Silvestro Cusolito, who was born at Lipari, about 1580, of unknown parentage; and died at Lipari, after 5 October 1624.^[2]
