I uploaded a record that shows Robert Booth already owned property by 6 Nov 1637, so please edit the narrative accordingly to show an earlier date by which he was in Virginia for certain.
Conflicting info.

It’s time for our annual Ireland Project check-in! Please respond within the next two weeks to let me know:
If you are happy with the team you’re on or if you’d like to make a change. It is now required that all members with an Ireland project badge work on at least one of the project’s team(s), so if you’ve not yet signed up please do so in your reply to this check-in.
What you think the project is doing well, and what (if any) changes you would like to see us make? Are there any teams you would like to become more active in?
Would you be interested in helping to work on an Ireland Project newsletter?
Please give us some feedback on the use of google group and discord. Do you use one or both of these? If you don’t use either of them, what is the best way for us to ensure you receive project communications? If you would like to join us on either one, just let us know in your response and we will get you signed up.
Please respond to this message by posting a reply below or sending me a private message on WikiTree. If we don’t hear from you within two weeks, we will assume you are no longer interested in participating in the Ireland Project, and your badge will be removed. If you wish to reapply for membership later, we will be happy to have you back. Many thanks, and I look forward to hearing from you!
My 5th great grandfather was Samuel Jones, born 1764 in Rowan County, NC. Just one of the many Jones's sometimes linked to Hardy. Here are a few DNA facts from ancestry.com:
My Sam had (at least) three siblings:
⦁ Samuel Bennett 1756-1839
⦁ Nancy E 1770-1830
⦁ Lucretia 1775-1835
He also had (at least) three half-siblings
⦁ Robert Armstead 1743 or 1741-
⦁ Thomas 1751-
⦁ Dury 1751-
Given the birth dates, obviously my Sam and the first three were with a 2nd wife while the second three were with a 1st wife. The names of the sibs may well be in error, but the links to actual sibs are presumably real. I've been stuck for a decade on finding Sam's actual father. Suggestions as to how to proceed from here would be appreciated.
Ive added the Irish Roots Project badge to your profile.
If you click on the badge it will take you to the full list of our wonderful members. Click on Irish Roots Project will take you to the first page of the project. I've added your good self to the member interest page. Here you can let others know which counties or names you are researching etc.
Thanks for joining the project and good luck with your research.
Maria
I'm starting to get twisted around on the McClung's . Who are the folk's stopping all the merges ? I may have messed up on Janett McClung's birth place , I can't put my hands on my research at this second . Is it Rockingham or Rockbridge county ?

Actually they do not have different mothers, so the merge can go through.
