I am working on several family lines from South Carolina. Most of my family came to various counties in SC and stayed for many generations. If you have family ties in Sumter, Clarendon, Darlington, Aiken, Richmond, Williamsburg or Kershaw counties please contact me. Maybe we are "Cousins"!

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Cheri by comparing test results with other carriers of her ancestors' mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Cheri:

Hi Cheri,

This is to check in with you about your Blog. Are there any updates?

I’d also like to invite you to join the WikiTree Ambassadors as part of the Bloggers Team.

WikiTree Ambassadors are volunteers who have taken on the mission of spreading the WikiTree Love across a variety of channels. There are five other teams, if you have an interest in any of them in addition to the Blogging team, just let me know:

Hope to hear from you soon!

Thank you for the work on the Wilder's! I just traced back to them in my line and this has been immensely helpful!

I see that you just did the Pre-1700 Self-Certification. That's great! Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors? Participation in a project is strongly encouraged for those wishing to edit Pre-1700 profiles. Be sure to also check out our Volunteer Hub to see our projects that really need new members!

Let me know, and I can help you figure out if there's a project that might interest you. Welcome aboard, we are glad to have you!
