Biography

My name is Enrico Davini, starting 2001 I collected info and documents about the genealogy of my ancestry. By using internet, I contacted by email Davini, in particular those living outside Italy, to found and share info about our surname. I thank all people who helped me, in particular Davini who reply me sending our data, like names, places, photo and documents. In addition, I thank all the other genealogists, librarian and civic officers who reply and help sending "archive" documents. Immediately I created a web site, to share the info progress with all the Davini in the world. At the end of 2001 the first, free hosted, only textual web site is on line. 24th october 2006 the growing site was moved, with a sister site for the documents and photo. Also the number of people who visit the site is growing: starting from 2000 "click" in january 2002, after 2 years the visit counter reached 5000 and 13th dec. 2008 10.000 and now we are over 12.000. In the meantime, over 400 Davini joined my Facebook pages "cognome Davini" e "Davini". During this years, my greatest satisfaction was when I fit new piece of this puzzle: crossing the genealogy of with another, two "cousins" are now in contact or the Davini grandfather name is discovered. Now I buy this brand site : I hope you agree with me and help to build a more big "puzzle". in 2016, my friend Tiziana Cortesi who makes a big work on Antraccoli (Lucca) about Davini found the connection of her and my ancestries, so allowing to make the tree of our ancestry since 1300. Today this tree on wikitree reports over 6.000 people. Today this new site "genealogia Davini genealogy" collected data about 10.000 Davini in the world: may be only a name, a place but also all his history. I'm looking forward for your help, corrections and feedback and waiting for our new info.

Hello! I am the great granddaughter of Amelia Banducci, daughter to Federal Banducci & Ersilia Fanucchi of Lucca. I was raised by my Grandmother and would be appreciative of any information connecting me.

Hello Enrico! I am searching for my ancestors in Malta and Sicily. My Great grandmother was Mattia Benedetti , her father was Gio Batta and mother Maria Melotto and her grand father Demetrio Benedetti. From Gedmatch compare we might be distant relatives. Do you have Benedetti relatives? Thanks Stefan.

Hi!

This is Chris from the Italy Project. As part of the annual project check-in, can you fill in the project survey? This will let us know that you are still interested in the project and which teams you'd like to participate in.

Thanks and have a great day!

Ciao ! enrico How are you! looking for data from my grand father! fanucchi, i found yours ! all my ancestors are from lucca, and particularly im looking for Atilio fanucchi ! and he died apparently in 1943. We are from Argentina and i would say that we could have some ancestors in common. Not so much fanucchis around the world!

Ciao! My husband is a Rosellini originating from the Tuscany valley. His father grew up in Borgo a Buggiano (beautiful town btw) before sailing to the US after his mother died at the age of 13. I have been having issues finding information past Vincenzo Rosellini 1748-1827 from Chiesina, Uzzano, Pistoia, Toscana, Italia. Even my father in laws grandfather’s information, Fabio Rosellini, with 18 children has been difficult to verify even though most came to the US. Some of those I have documentation for. Any help as to where to look for info would be helpful and preferably not in Italian which may be hard to find.

Ciao! I created a thread for the Italy project teams here: https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/1091444/italy-project-teams-assemble

I hope you check it out. If I have you down for a team, let me know. If you still haven't decided, feel free to comment. Thanks!

Ciao! This is just a general check-in for members of the Italy project. I am checking to see who is still interested in being a member of the project as we go through some much needed restructuring. I was also wondering what teams you would like to be on. We’ve created teams for each part of Italy. North, South, Islands etc. They will be explained further in an upcoming g2g post. Stay tuned. For now, please let me know if you are still interested in the project and if you’d like to be a member of a team.

Hi Enrico :)

Just letting you know that I connected you & your tree to the global wikitree using the L'Etoile dit L'Italien family that went from Quebec to the USA.

So now you can see how you are connected to Queen Elizabeth or Kevin Bacon, etc. Hope you enjoy it :)

Enrico,

Congratulations on your Pre-1500 badge and all of the work you have put into sourcing your profiles! Please make sure to add Pre-1500 as one of your followed tags.

Hi! Yes, add Italy as well (Pisa, Italy) I made corrections to a number of your profiles last week. I figured you might want to make sure you add "Italy" in the future to avoid additional errors on the Error Report. Have a good evening!

Are you interested in assisting with setting up categories in Italian based upon English named categories using those that are established as an example? We are starting to work on the Italia categories to correct and standardize existing categories on WikiTree.

Note: Used a translation software for the following so if it's not right, apologies:

Siete interessati ad assistere con impostazione categorie in Italiano basato su categorie denominate Inglese con quelli che si sono stabiliti come esempio? Stiamo cominciando a lavorare in Italia le categorie di correggere e standardizzare le categorie esistenti su WikiTree.

Grazie per l'attenzione.

Hi there,

We are really happy that you took the Pre-1700 certification Quiz. Thank you for doing your part to make WikiTree an accurate and openly collaborative place for genealogists to share their research.

Do you have some 1700's people in your tree already ? Now that you have the badge, you can take part in one of our historical projects.

If you have any questions, you can contact one of our Mentors or Volunteer Coordinator, Erin .

Have a great day !
