The marriage of Elizabeth and Joel is in Book A marriages in Jefferson Co. Illinois. This family moved to Missouri after his mother died. They settled in Reynolds Co. Missouri.

Don't use Ralph's book unless you have the corrections he made in the addendum. There are some real mistakes in the book that need to be corrected. Most people don't know that William that Married Magdalena Ferree is the nephew of William that married Alice Rupp.

Thomas thanks for adding the source info. It's mine from 1998 but incorrect. Ellington News is a local newspaper in Reynolds Co. Missouri. The source of the information on Elizabeth is from Quaker Records in Chester, Pennsylvania. When I found them Ancestry wasn't in business. So I used Wills to prove relationships. I have a huge amount of information on the Buffington Family which I will make available ASAP. Sydna
