Communication Preferences: I am interested in communicating private message with cousins and anyone else with an interest in genealogy. Here is my family tree.
My father was adopted at birth and the records were sealed. I do have information that has shown my paternal grandfather was a Shepler and with great accuracy I have determined that my paternal grandmother was a Jones. My family all comes from Washington State. I served in the Army for almost 20 years and have traveled all over the US. I have been doing work on my family tree for over 30 years and have the most comprehensive information on my Scandinavian ancestry more than anything else.

Biography

I'm a Northwest native born, now living in San Antonio, Tx. Genealogy has been a hobby of mine since I was a teenager helping out my maternal grandfather pour over documents and records we were able to trace our Scandinavian roots back to pre 1066 at the battle of Stamford Bridge and the Battle of Hastings. I took my love of history and ended up getting a degree in it from Washington State University back in 2002. For a brief period of time I worked for the Museum of Flight in Seattle.

I joined the Army shortly after graduating and ended my term on active duty in 2011. I now work as a network security analyst for an IT company out of Waltham Mass and enjoy working out of the house. Today, I'm the South Texas president of the Clan MacQuarrie Society and delve into helping others find their roots or help fill in the holes in their family tree.

Hello Adam,

During the winter, the Nordic Project performed check-ins, sent as a private message from your profile. You are one of those members who has not replied, and this is a last chance to get in touch and let me know if you like to continue as member in the Nordic Project.

Please answer this comment, and get in touch by sending me a private message. If we have not heard from you within a month you will be removed from the Nordic google group and your badge will be removed.

If you have not received any check-in emails, you might want to check that your email adress for WikiTree is one you actually still use.

Thank you!

Missy Berryann Co-Leader, Nordic Project

It would be highly appreciated if you could clean up your Norwegian profiles that are not in accordance with

Hi Adam,

As you have a Volga German Project member badge, I wanted to let you know that the Volga German Project will now operate as a Team under the Germany Project. To continue your participation in the Volga German Team, you'll need to join the Germany Project. No other changes are being made at this time - this is simply an administrative change.

Can I add you as a member of the Germany Project? I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Thanks, Traci ~co-leader Germany Project

Please add me to Trusted List or change the Project Box as stated in Comments on Query-90 profile, since it is creating a Suggestion for the Project.

Your own Profile needs the same change made.

Thank you.

Hi Adam, could you please add Sweden project as manager of these profiles please https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Bernadotte-52, https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Bernadotte-43

Please take a look at Per Larsson of Hordaland, Norway. He cannot be the same Per Larsson who was married to Maja Lisa Andersdotter of Östergötland, Sweden and fathered the son Lars Magnus Persson in Östergötland.

I have sourced the mother and son, and I'm wondering if they should just be disconnected from the Norwegian Per Larsson.

Hi, Andrew. Do you have any information on Henry Einarsson? Can't find him in the sources and his given name is very strange. Cheers, C

Hi Adam,

I’m Steven, coordinator of the Categorization Project. Please have a look at the revamped Categorization Project page, specifically about the new team approach. Members will be now be part of the Maintenance Team. Project Liaisons and leaders will be involved in the Vision and Collaboration team.

Please contact me within the next week to let me know if you would like to remain an active member of the project. If I don’t hear back from you I will assume you no longer want to be a part of the Categorization Project.

Thanks, Steven

I noticed you never took action on a merge about one of your profiles, Kiev-40. Please consider removing yourself from all pre-1700 profiles so projects can manage them. Thanks!

Your Watchlist has 13997 profiles. This is very large. Our systems are designed to handle 5,000. Contributing to more than 5,000 profiles is great (the community thanks you for it!) but don't feel you have to keep so many on your Watchlist. Despite the terminology, there is no shame in "orphaning" Open profiles. :-) This invites others to share responsibility. Since you have more than 10,000, Bulk Trusted List changes tool may not work for you. If so, please contact [email address removed] for help reducing your Watchlist. You have many profiles with merges pending that need your attention. Please make sure that your start orphaning profiles or at least keep up with the requests.

Hi,

The profile linked below got an alert from the Database Errors Project. It is very unlikely that she lived to be that old, I assume a typing error. Could you please check your sources and correct the information? Thanks. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Nielsdatter-18

This profile got an alert from the Database Errors Project. It is very unlikely that he is born before his father was born. Could you please check your sources and correct the information, thanks.
