Hi Art!

I noticed you haven't been active on WikiTree for awhile. A lot of great and positive changes have happened in the last year or so and the community is growing at a rapid rate. We're also expanding things like projects, categories, DNA and interest groups while working equally hard to eliminate duplicates and poorly sourced profiles.

You might want to check us out again!

Are you still interested in maintaining you profiles?

If not, do you have someone in mind you would like to maintain them as manager?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Art ,

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.

If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.

Hello Art!

I just wanted to take a second to welcome you to the WikiTree family and thank you for volunteering! You're now a confirmed member. There are many great people and resources available here to help you.

If you already have or you are planning to upload a GEDCOM, you might want to check out our GEDCOM FAQ.

Keep in mind that our primary vision is to build a collaborative tree with just one profile per person, so please make sure to look for duplicates on WikiTree before adding a profile.

If I can help in any way, I will certainly do my best! Please don't hesitate to ask :)

Happy hunting!

Eowyn ~

I am searching for Neely's who might have lived in or around Greensburg, Pa. My gg grand father, Joseph Neely, married Martha Kenly. Her mother's maiden name was Carnahan, who's family lived in Bell Twp., Pa. I think that the Neely's lived there also, but have not been able to find them there. A book by John N. Boucher indicates that the Carnahan's and Neely's were some of the first settlers in the area. Sure could use some help if this sounds like you family.

Thanks

I have been searching for my family for abt 18 years. The Neely's came from Ireland in the 1770's but I do not know the names. Only one, Joseph Neely who was born in 1791. I am still searching and correcting the information that I have taken off of the internet. I use Ancestry as a search engine and inter anything I find in Roots Magic 6. I am hoping to find the family who came to America in the 1770's. I also have info on the Highbarger/Highbergers, Baer family and Kiefer's. I would share any info. that I have regurading these families.
