re: DeLee-32 - I am using a book by Mead - and a paper by Bettis for sources (listed on the page). As a last resort (only if no other sources are available or there are excellent sources on the web-page) I will link to another "tree" website.
I checked the sources for Lee-8543 - Matilda married John son of Reginald - so the marriage is correct. the DoB are guesses on my part.
Re: Lee-8543 - you're probably correct - will look into it - it's been a job straightening out the Lee's.

As for the suffix Miles - I have learned that was a way of denoting a soldier that wasn't a knight, yet of some land/wealth/noble family.

Hi Julian! Would you like to join the New Netherland Settlers project? Take a look at our project page & let me know. We've marked a few of your ancestors as being a New Netherland settler, and also started the review process (for instance, Caspar, who was born in New Netherland, could very well have been christened as van Groenengen, but it's more likely that records for his father would have used the patronym "Jansen"). Cheers, Liz
