I became interested in genealogy when I was about 5-6 years old. At that time, I discovered that I was not the center of the universe , My grandfather told me that my dad was his little boy and that he too had a dad and grandpa. Took me a while to comprehend, but 50+ years later, I am beginning to understand. I can go back many generations throughout my family, but stumped beyond my great grandfather whose name I bear. All leads come to the proverbial brick wall...and I am just another ... :-)

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.
