Hi M,

I sent you a message a while ago on behalf of the Germany Project and have yet to hear back from you. I hope you are well.

If I don’t hear from you in the next week or so I’ll assume you no longer wish to be in the project and go ahead and remove you. You would, of course, be most welcome to rejoin at any time via the G2G sign-up post.

Best wishes,

Kylie :-)

Hi,

On behalf of the Germany Project, I am currently undergoing our member check-in's and wanted to verify that you are still interested in being a member of the project. Are you currently assigned to or working with one of our Sub-projects or Teams? We have many new teams so have a look on the Germany project page for the full list. I would be delighted to help you get setup in one or more of our collaborative teams!

We use Google groups for project collaboration, so if you are not yet setup, please submit a join request and we will get that approved as quickly as possible. We also ask that you check your follwed tags to make sure you are following the correct project tag (GERMANY) so you don't miss any disucssions in G2G.

We really appreciate your contributions on WikiTree, and thank you for all your hard work. If you have any questions please ask. I would also love to hear any feedback you may have for the project!

Please respond by private message. I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Hi Margo, Thanks so much for your response! Please don’t quit WikiTree! Yes, there are lots of profiles on WikiTree that don’t have sources. Many of us started out planning to add sources later, but then we don’t always remember to go back and add them. We’ve discovered it’s a really good idea to add the source at the same time we enter the information, just to be sure. If you have limited time, it’s better to have fewer profiles with good source information than lots of profiles with no sources at all. When you do add your sources, don’t forget to remove the category
This profile lacks source information. Please add sources that support the facts.
that indicates sources still need to be entered. WikiTree is wonderful and a great way to meet distant cousins who are interested in the same ancestors. I hope you stay with us! Kay

That's a very nice way to express your desire to join our community, Margo. Thanks for volunteering to help grow our worldwide tree by adding your family branches. :)

Please consider stopping by the Tree House to get acquainted with some of us and maybe even introduce yourself.

VERY IMPORTANT: The more documents, sources, dates, and locations you provide on the profiles you create, the stronger your branches and our mutual global tree will be. If you don't know the correct date, please estimate using before or after.

Thank you for helping in our mission to build a global tree with only ONE profile per person.

Hope you enjoy WikiTree!

I see where you have uploaded your DNA for comparison. Did you know we have a project for DNA where a lot of great new things are happening? If you are interested and would like to check it out, go to the FIND link top right of your profile page, select PROJECTS from the drop down box, and then select the link for the DNA project. It has information listed that might be of interest to you, and feel free to contact any of the members if you would like additional details.

Hi Margaret,

Welcome as a guest to WikiTree! We're growing a FREE worldwide family tree, striving for ONE collaborative profile for every person.

A couple suggestions to get you started:

1. Feel free to ask a question at our G2G forum .

2. Our help pages, top right, have all sorts of useful information.

If you would like to contribute, click the volunteer button and leave a comment here on your profile to let our greeters know. You should include a little bit about how you plan to contribute to the tree.

Good luck growing your branches, and thanks for offering to help with our shared tree :)

Hilary
