Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards .

If you need to describe an event, heirloom or a location relevant to your research, try Free Space Profiles .

If you run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving these unfortunate situations.

A project of note is the Global Family Reunion check it out at Global Family Reunion.

Hi  again Jackie. Thank you for volunteering to help grow our World Wide Family Tree.

You are now a member of the WikiTree Community.   Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person.  It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add any Profiles to WikiTree.  Everything on WikiTree is a collaborative work in progress so don’t forget to read and sign our Honor Code.  This is what keeps WikiTree a friendly and helpful community.   We have many friendly members, feel  free to ask if you have any questions.

Hi Jackie. I see that you have also uploaded your DNA for comparison. Did you know that we have a project for DNA where a lot of things are happening? If you are interested and would like to check it out, go to the FIND link top right of your profile page, select PROJECTS from the drop down box, and then select the link for the DNA project. It has information listed that might be of interest to you, and feel free to contact any of the members if you would like more details.

Jackie. I noticed that you uploaded a GEDCOM. Here's a link to a great step-by-step of our (http://www.geneamusings.com/2013/12/adding-early-seaver-generations-to.html GEDCOM import process) including screenshots that you might find helpful. You might also want to check out our (http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:GEDCOMsGEDCOMS). Please keep in mind that our primary vision is to build a collaborative tree with just one profile per person, so please make sure to look for duplicates on WikiTree before adding a profile. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions!
