Again, Thanks for taking responsibility for Orphaned Profiles. I noticed that you adopted a number of Harrison profiles with no sources or place names. Thanks so much for being willing to improve those profiles!

Thanks for taking responsibility for Orphaned Profiles. This is a courtesy email to share the After Adopting Orphans FAQ which explains the special attention adopted profiles will sometimes need from their profile managers. One quick way to find the profiles you adopted is by searching your Contributions List for the word "adopted" and "manager." You can find a quick link to your Contributions List in the My WikiTree dropdown menu.

If you will be working on any profiles that need GEDCOM cleanup, the AGC tool can help with formatting so that you can concentrate on the research. You can read more about it in the WikiTree AGC FAQ.

You might be interested in some of the tips and tricks that are included in the How-Tos that get shared with new members these days. They were created long after you became a member so you never received them.

PS You can put a nickname in Preferred First Name if you would rather we didn't address you as Anonymous. That's how I get Debi to show rather than the name I only heard when my mom was mad *grin* If you did want to be Anonymous, that's OK too!

If you need to describe an event, heirloom or a location relevant to your research, try Free Space Profiles .

If you run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving these unfortunate situations.
