Hi Lisa, I agree on your merge of Margaret Stookey Shobe. I may have inadvertently switched which profile for Margaret he is linked to. That shouldn't be an issue once the merge is complete.

Hi Lisa,

I see you are working on merges, you may want to review Matching and Merging FAQ to understand your responsibilities in doing merges. Also note that Merges Are done from the Correct LNAB highest WikiTree ID into the lowest.

Remember, after the merge you will want to clean up the text. During a merge, the text from the merged-away profile is simply appended onto the end of the text of the merged-into profile. You will want to integrate it into a single biography and a single sources section.

You will also want to review all other family members for potential duplicates and review any conflicts in parents. If you have any questions, just let me know.

Hi, I'm Lisa and I am looking forward to adding my family tree and finding other branches on it. I find that history has become more interesting to me as I look at the dates my ancestors lived in and wonder what their lives were like during the times they lived. For instance, those born prior to the Civil War, did they have any idea it was coming and how did they manage afterwards? Something to think about.
