Henry was born in 1874 to Christopher Aaby and Ingeleiv Lassesdatter in Minnesota.
In 1900, Henry married Katie Peters in Rochester. Henry worked for the Soo Line Railroad for 40 years. In 1939, he retired. The official name of railroad was Minneapolis, St. Paul and Sault Ste. Marie Railroad.
In 1946, Kathryn passed away. In 1963, Henry passed away. They are buried in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Minneapolis.

Services for HENRY C. AABY, 88, who died Thursday, will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
Mr. Aaby, formerly of 2521 NE. Fillmore St., lived at the Oak Terrace Nursing Home. He was born in Kasson, Minn., and worked for the Soo Line Railroad 40 years before retiring as an engineer in 1939.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Irene Foster, Minneapolis, and Mrs. Raleigh Meyer, Coon Rapids; one sister, Mrs. Clara Weber, California; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Sunday at Billman-Hunt Mortuary.
