Synnøve Aamundsdatter Sørheim was born, roughly estimated, about 1675 in Ørsta.

Synnøve was first married to Paal Olsen Hovdenakk, probably about 1699. They lived at Kvistad in Hjørundfjord. She was named in his 1712 probate record, along with their children:^[1]

1. Ole Paalsen (~1700 - 1764)
2. Anne Paulsdatter (~1707 - 1786)
3. Aamund Paalsen (~1709 - 1776)

Synnøve was married for a second time to Rasmus Jetmundsen Saure. Their daughter was:

1. Ragnhild Rasmusdatter ( - 1756)

She was buried on 22 Feb 1740 in Hjørundfjord.^[2] Her age was not mentioned in the burial record.
