Biography

Reid was born in 1918. He was the son of John Aaron and Jessie Stanley.

He was killed while a POW in 1945. According to the biography posted at Find a Grave, "He died during the Japanese evacuation while being transferred by the prison ship Oryoko Maru which was sunk and then possibly aboard the Brazil Maru enroute from Takao, Formosa to Moji, Japan. His date of death is listed as 21 January 1945."[1]
