Carl married Hattie Lee Jones on 9 Dec 1939.^[5]

In the 1940 census Carl (age 25), Attendant, was the married head of household in Jacksonville Beach, Duval, Florida.^[6][7]

Carl registered for the WWII draft on 16 October 1940 in Jacksonville Beach, Duval, Florida, United States.^[8]

Carl J Aarons and Hattie Lee divorced in 1946.^[9]

In the 1950 census Carl (age 35) was the divorced brother of Ida D Matthews in Miami, Dade, Florida, United States.^[10]
