Biography
Aline was born in 1888. She was the daughter of Ulysse Abadie and Sophie Frank. Aline never married. She became a teacher and taught three generations before retiring, after which she became employed by the Department of Public Welfare in Abbeville. Aline died suddenly at home at age 74 or 75 and is buried in Saint Mary Magdalen Cemetery and Mausoleum in Abbeville.[1]
The 1940 U.S. Census indicates Aline was a 51 year old white woman living in the household of her brother, Henry, and his wife, Zoe, along with their other spinster sister, Anne.[2]
