Biography

Sarah Abbee (Abbe, Abbey) was born March 26, 1718 at Enfield, Connecticut, the daughter of Captain Thomas Abbey and his wife Mary (Pease) of Enfield.[1]

She married Nathaniel Chapin, son of Thomas Chapin and his wife Sarah (Wright) of Enfield. Nathaniel died in the Cape Breton expedition on June 16, 1745.[1]

The widow Sarah (Abbey) Chapin married (2nd) Captain Hezekiah Parsons on January 23, 1748/9.[1]

She died May 12, 1785.[1]

Children, born to Sarah and Nathaniel Chapin[1]
  1. Nathaniel was born December 31, 1738 and died February 11, 1831.
  2. Eliphalet was born March 2, 1741 and died July 27, 1788.
  3. Jabez was born December 21, 1743. Since he was not included in the will of Nathaniel Chapin, his father, it is assumed he died before June 16, 1745.

Hi, I sourced and updated Abbee-7; also wrote biography with citations.

Note: the merge needs to go in the direction of Abbee-7 since that is the lowest number. Thanks.

Abbe-236 and Abbee-7 appear to represent the same person because: This Sarah Abbe (Abbe-236) is the exact same person as Sarah Abbee (Abbee-7). This Sarah Abbe was married to both Nathaniel Chapin Sr. and Hezekiah Parsons. Sarah Abbe (Chapin, Parsons) should be merged.
