Biography
Albert Edmund Abbey, son of Luke & Sarah Catherine (Young) Abbey, was born on July 17, 1895 in Lisle, Ontario.[1][2][3]
Albert was a farmer and 24 years old when he married Mary "Minnie" Christina Fulford, daughter of Lorne & Mary Ann (Neil) Fulford, in Collingwood on August 27, 1919.[4][5] Albert and Mary were both Presbyterian and residents of Ravenna at the time.[5] Mary was born in Heathcote.[5] Albert and Mary had a son, Albert Edwin Abbey, born on June 22, 1922, as well as 3 other sons: Carl, Ross, and Denton.[6]
Albert died in 1971 and was buried with his sister, Elizabeth Ann (Abbey) Fee (1889-1970), in Nobleton Community Cemetery in Nobleton, Ontario, Canada.[2]
