Biography

Wellington was born in 1896. He was the son of George Abbey and Gertrude Perkins.

He was living with his parents and siblings in Pomfret, Chautauqua, New York in 1900.[1]

He married Gertrude Lavinia Mead on 22 Aug 1925 in Chautauqua county, New York.[2] She passed away in 1929.

Wellington married Ethel Shortt on 16 Mar 1932 in Chautauqua county, New York[3]. They had two children.

They were in Dunkirk, Chautauqua, New York in 1940.[4]

He passed away in 1957 at Brooks Memorial Hospital in Dunkirk.[5] His obituary incorrectly listed some of his brothers and sisters as sons and daughters.
