He married Gertrude Lavinia Mead on 22 Aug 1925 in Chautauqua county, New York.[2] She passed away in 1929.
Wellington married Ethel Shortt on 16 Mar 1932 in Chautauqua county, New York[3]. They had two children.
They were in Dunkirk, Chautauqua, New York in 1940.[4]
He passed away in 1957 at Brooks Memorial Hospital in Dunkirk.[5] His obituary incorrectly listed some of his brothers and sisters as sons and daughters.
