Daryl was born in 1904. She was the daughter of George Abbitt and Nancy Maze. She passed away in 1925.

In 1910 George S. Abbitt (41, b. IN, farmer, married twice, married 0 years, both parents b. IN) headed a Union, IN (Boone County) household with wife Netty Abbitt (30, b. IN, married twice, married 0 years, 2 children both living, both parents b. IN), son Orville Abbitt (15, b. IN, farmer, both parents b. IN), son Buryl Abbitt (11, b. IN, both parents b. IN), daughter Daryl Abbitt (5, b. IN, both parents b. IN), step-son Stanley Moore (6, b. IN, both parents b. IN), and step-son Gordon Moore 3, b. IN, both parents b. IN).

Sister Opal was informant for her death certificate.^[1]

Some family trees listed her step-mother Nettie as her mother instead of Nancy Effie. The 1910 census noted that Daryl had already been born, George had two step-children surnamed Moore, Nettie and George had only been married within the year, and Nancy only had had two children.

FAG was listing Columbus and Annie J. Tweedy as her parents as of 14 Feb 2021. Suggestion was sent to change to George and Nancy Effie.
