Nathaniel was born 27 October 1751 in Andover, Massachusetts. He was the son of Joseph Abbot and Deborah Blanchard.^[1][2]

Nathaniel married Sarah Stevens on 31 August 1773 in Andover, Massachusetts.^[3][4]

Nathaniel was a shoemaker and a farmer, and lived in Wilton, New Hampshire. He died in March 1791.
