BENJAMIN ABBOT, b. at Concord, 10 Feb 1749/50 son of Benjamin Abbot and Hannah Abbot;[1] d. at Concord, 11 Dec 1815;[2] m. 29 Jan 1778,[3] Sarah Brown, b. at Kingston, NH, 13 Feb 1758 daughter of Daniel and Ruth (Morrill) Brown;[4] Sarah d. at Concord, 27 Sep 1801.[5] Benjamin m. 2nd at Salisbury, NH, 17 Jun 1805,[6] HANNAH GREENLEAF, b. about 1759; Hannah d. at Franklin, NH, 15 Mar 1831.[7]

Benjamin Abbot served in the Revolutionary War with the rank of Sergeant under the commands of Captain Gordon Hutchins and Colonel John Stark. [8] [9] [10] [11] [12] [13] He participated in the Battle of Bunker Hill. [14]

Benjamin Abbot wrote his will 19 October 1815. His beloved wife Hannah receives the improvements of one-third part of the real and personal estate. Son Ephraim Abbot and daughter Hannah Hall each receives one dollar. Daughter Ruth Morrill Hall receives two dollars as does daughter Sarah Noyes. Son Isaac receives ten dollars and daughter Abigail Baker receives five dollars. Daughter Permelia receives fifty dollars and son Theodore Thomas Abbot receives four dollars. Son Benjamin Abbot receives all the remainder of the estate and is also named executor. [15]
