Biography

Laetitia Abbot was born in 1799 at Canterbury, Kent and was baptised at the nearby Saint Margaret Church on the day after Christmas in the same year. She was the second child of William Abbot the fifth and Hannah Morgan.^[1]Her elder sister, Mary was baptised at the same church on the day after Christmas the year earlier.^[2]
