Identity
Isaac was born about 1776 son of Philip Abbott and Elizabeth Frye. This is the family record in the Abbot Genealogical Register, p 164; https://archive.org/details/genealogicalregi00inabbo/page/164/mode/2up
The family is also covered in the History of Norway, Maine, although that source erroneously gives mother as Susan Frye (the mother's name was Elizabeth Frye). https://archive.org/details/centennialhistor1786laph/page/454/mode/2up
Biography
About 1816 Isaac Abbot and Betsy Lovejoy had a daughter, Olive, in Andover, Me.[1]
About 1829 Isaac Abbot and Betsy Lovejoy had a daughter, Mary, in Norway, ME.[2]
In 1860, Isaac Abbott listed as age 82 and Betty L. Abbott listed as age 71 were living in Norway, Maine.[3]
Isaac was deceased by 1870 when Betsey Abbott listed as age 79 was living in the household of her son Isaac and Clara Abbot in Norway.[4]
10 Nov 1882, Mary A. Tufts died in Medfield, Mass, at age 53.[5]
