Given that William was from New York, and that William and Anna's first-born son is enumerated on census records as being born in New York, we presume Anna and William married in New York, sometime before 1819.
Together William and Anna were the parents of these five known Children
- William Court Jr.
- Lydia (Court) Maltimore
- Margaret (Court) Richey
- John Court
- Charles Court.
William and Anna moved to Illinois, settling in Madison County, near present-day Venice. IN 1828 they moved to what is now Jersey County. Their land is located on the Great River Road, between Rosedale and Nutwood.
