Biography
Henry was baptised 26 Mar 1564 the son of Robert Abbott and Joan Turnyshe. [1]
1585 He was said to have maimed and lamed the finger of William Clark, disturbed the watchmen and though having charge of the constables to ward the next day refused the service, abusing his neighbours. He was given to contention and stirred up many strifes and discords between his neighbours whereby many suits and actions were by him moved and grown.[2]
1598 He cut certain trees on his customary land called Husseys held of the manor aforesaid by copy of court roll and then sold the wood without the licence and agreement of the lord.[3]
1608 He made two cottages for living in from a certain barn against the laws and statutes.[4]
1616 He was heir to his uncle Henry Abbott[5]
